What is PTSD?<\/h3>\n

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a mental health condition that is triggered by exposure to a terrifying event. Most often associated with combat during warfare, PTSD can also be developed by those experiencing sexual assault and abuse, domestic violence, neglect, and emotional and physical abuse. Symptoms can include uncontrollable thoughts, numbness, dissociation, severe anxiety, flashbacks, and nightmares. If you think you have PTSD, it\u2019s important to get help from licensed professionals<\/p>\n

What if I don\u2019t have PTSD?<\/h3>\n

Hey, parenting is hard. What works for parents with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder may work for you. We offer education, support, and inspiration for anyone who can benefit. All parents are welcome here.<\/p>\n
